Then there are the freshwater lakes which are π gorgeous and nothing like you’ve seen before. Yamdrok lake is the bomb and has a crazy cool religious significance that’ll give you chills. And yeah, don’t forget about the Yangbajing hot springs, a perfect spot to chill and see some nomad life π.
If you’re a mountain π enthusiast, you’ll be in heaven. Tibet has all these epic snow-covered peaks and passes that’ll blow your mind, like Makalu peak and the legendary Mount Everest π. You might not be able to climb them, but you can always admire their majestic beauty from a distance.
